A native Arizonan, Doug was not only raised
in Phoenix, he continues to make his home
here. In fact, you could say Doug was
born and raised in gymnastics.
Son of a gym owner, Doug spent most of his
years in a gym and started coaching for his
father when he was 16 years old.
Over the years, Doug has coached some of the
best gymnasts in the area including several
State and Regional Champions and two
All-Around National Champions. Today,
Gold Medal Gymnastics is proud to have Doug
as part of our coaching staff.
Spending time with family is one of the top
interests Doug has outside gymnastics.
In addition, he enjoys cheering on the
Phoenix Suns and watching movies.
