Gold Medal Gymnastics was founded by 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist, Amanda Borden-Cochran. As the program has flourished, so have the facilities. In 2004 we opened our first location in Tempe. After a few years in operation we outgrew the space and saw the opportunity to expand our program in the valley. In 2008 we opened our second location in Chandler. Since the grand opening of Gold Medal Gymnastics, GMG has continued to grow and be a proven force in Arizona Gymnastics both for recreational gymnastics and competitive. The home of several State, Regional, and National Champions, GMG remains a gym where moms and tots as well as teens can have a little fun while feeling success in the sport of gymnastics.

Our Tempe gym remains our flagship location and main offices. While recreational and preschool programs are offered at both gyms, our Chandler Gym is the training center for our Team Program and various special events and competitions. Gold Medal Gymnastics provides children of all ages and abilities a safe and healthy work-out environment. From tots to team, Gold Medal Gymnastics offers flexible class schedules all in the comforts of state-of-the-art facilities.

Currently Gold Medal Gymnastics serves more than 1000 families a week in the East Valley and beyond. In addition to offering gymnastics and tumbling, we currently offer Birthday Parties, Special Events, and host numerous National Competitions and Camps. Our  special events attract over 2000 kids annually from all over the country.
