Gold Medal Dance
Gold Medal Dance will offer a variety of classes and combo classes to allow students to gain insight and basics in several genres and styles. Gold Medal Dance will offer a positive and energetic environment for girls and boys to learn and develop dance.
Dance begins with a basic warm-up and works through techniques, skills, leaps, turns, across the floor. Dance terminology, shapes, flexibility, strength, and fitness will be incorporated within age-appropriate class structures. Dance will be introduced to age-appropriate beginner level training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop and more!
Gold Medal dancers must be outfitted with approprate dance apparel and footwear for their particular style. Introducing Ms. Emily
Dance Department Leader and Principle Instructor
Help us in welcoming Ms. Emily to Gold Medal Gymnastics and Gold Medal Dance.
Dancing since the age of 9, Emily has been teaching for over 20 years and joins GMG staff with a BFA in Dance from Hostra University.
Emily’s favorite styles include Jazz, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.
Home town: Des Moines, Iowa
Emily has been awarded top honors throughout her career as a dancer, instructor, and choreographer at the State, Regional and National level plus camps, clinics, performances, and more! After being crowned Miss Dance America Dance Masters, she began a career assisting her instructors (age 14) and never looked back.

- Fire Dancer for New York Dragon’s Arena Football Team
- National Dance Alliance Camp Instructor
- Studied with Frank Hatchett at The Broadway Dance Center
- Instructor for JAM Dance and Fitness in New York
